| • Sea Health Products continues the legacy of Betty Long,
the 'Kelp Lady' of Narooma, in producing
Golden Kelp Meal, a well known and
widely used kelp supplement. Fragrant
Golden Kelp was harvested by Betty
Long from the Pacific Ocean off-shore
from Narooma on the far South Coast
of NSW and hand processed for over
40 years – an activity that
led to her reputation as the ‘Kelp
Lady’ (» more

Today her son Scott and his partner
Philippa continue to utilise the same
hand harvesting, processing and
packaging techniques that have
created » Golden
Kelp Meal’s reputation
as a uniquely natural and pure source
of sea kelp (» more
about sea kelp).
Operating from the family’s
80 hectare
coastal farm near the stunning
» Glass
House Rocks, Scott and
Philippa
continue to sustainably hand-select
kelp
from the pristine local waters (in
season).
To preserve the nutrients, flavour
and
freshness, the kelp is then hand-washed,
sun-dried, milled, and packaged in
sealed
containers within a week of harvesting. |
