Kelp and Cocoa Smoothie Bowls

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup + almond or coconut milk

  • 1 cup frozen berries (Aim for seasonal berries, blueberries and raspberries in the warmer months and strawberries in winter)

  • 1/2 frozen ripe banana

  • 1 scoop chocolate protein powder or vegan protein options such as hemp seeds, nuts or nut/soy milk.

  • 1 Tbls raw cacao powder (or cocoa powder)

  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Toppings:

  • Golden Kelp (plain) Granules

  • Blueberries

  • Coconut flakes

  • Chia seeds

  • Optional Chocolate Buckwheat Granola

Instructions:

  • Add all ingredients into a high-speed blender and blend until smooth. You can add a little extra milk in if you need.

  • Pour into large bowl and add toppings in lines or any pattern you like.
